Paint protection film (PPF for short), commonly known as invisible car film, is a thermoplastic polyurethane that is usually self-repairing and is applied to the paint surface of new or used cars to protect the paint from stone chips, bug splashes and minor scratches. The film is also used in aircraft, RVs, mobile phones, electronic products, screens, motorcycles and many other fields.
